The best entry in each category will win £1,000 so if you have successfully mixed creativity with commercial flair, or demonstrated real entrepreneurial vision you could be in with a chance.

The categories:

1) Business Entrepreneur - For enterprising individuals who have started their own business, large or small.
2) Social and Community - For ventures combining the principles of a successful business with an emphasis on the social and environmental benefits it can provide.
3) Teen - For anybody aged 13-19 who is making an idea happen.
4) Creative - For enterprising individuals, businesses and endeavours that have shown creative flair.
5) High Growth Business - For start-ups that can demonstrate rapid and sustained business growth.
